Resident Cheyenne River Community Died December 17
Charles C. Crowe, a resident of the Cheyenne River country for the past several years, passed away at the Jim Reed home last Sunday evening, December 17, 1939 at 7:00 p.m., death being attributed to a chronic heart ailment. The deceased was 39(?) years, 8 months and 1 day of age when he died. He had owned a homestead in the Cheyenne River country for the past eight years, and worked for various ranches in that community, but principally the Reed Brothers.
The body was shipped to St. Paul, Nebraska, on Wednesday afternoon, where burial was to be made. His only survivors are three brothers and a sister, the names of which we were unable to obtain at the time of this writing.
