Elmer Turner, Lost Springs Pioneer, Passed Away Oct. 4.
Elmer E. Turner, age 72 years, passed away, at his home at Lost Springs, Sunday night, October 4th. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Ellsworth of Lost Springs and Harry of Lusk.
He was born at Rockfield, Ind., April 15, 1854, a son of Levi and Sarah Turner. He was married to Mary M. Smiley on July 26, 1892. Four sons were born to this union, Paul, Robert, Ellsworth and Harry. Two sons preceded him in death. In the year 1910 the family moved to Lost Springs and since that time have made that place their home.
Funeral services were held at the Hofmann chapel in Douglas last Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock with Rev. Clayton Judy officiating. The body was shipped to Aros, Ind., for burial.
