Sam A. Coen
Sam A. Coen, 49, son of Edith Coen of Lusk, died November 29 at Pioneer Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service was December 1 at Juniper Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Edward McKenzie of the Church of God of Prophecy officiating.
Mr. Coen was born March 5, 1931, at Lusk and graduated from Lusk High School in 1949. On August 26, 1949, he married Arlene Pollard in the Congregational Church in Lusk. He had made his home in Prineville, Ore., for the past three years.
He is survived by his wife Arlene, two sons Zan and Gary, a daughter Rhonda Shaw, all of Prineville; three brothers Gale of Prineville, Mick of Keeline, and Gorman of San Jose, Calif., a sister Pearl Trible of Yakima, Wash.; his mother Edith Coen of Lusk, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Coen was preceded in death by his father, one brother and a sister.
