Geo. McGuire, Keeline, Dies Thursday
Well-Known Citizen of West End Dies After Long Illness
George McGuire, 52, old-time resident of Keeline community passed away this Thursday afternoon at 1:20 o'clock at his home near Keeline. He had been suffering from cancer for some time, last year receiving treatment in Rochester, however, he received little aid and his recovery was hopeless.
He is survived by his wife, Henrietta, and two children, Dale and Hildred, both of Keeline and a sister, Mrs. Lilly Carter of Quinter, Kansas. Two nephews, Lloyd and Floyd Speery, have made their home with the McGuire's for a number of years.
The deceased was born in Quinter, Kansas, June 9th, 1883 and moved to Keeline 25 years ago where he has since resided.
Funeral services will be held at the Keeline church at two o'clock Saturday with Rev. Evans of Lusk officiating and burial will be made in the Jireh cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are in the charge of the Peet Mortuary.

Funeral of Geo. McGuire Saturday
The funeral of George McGuire, resident of the county for about 25 years, who died at Keeline last Thursday, was held Saturday, interment being made in Keeline, arrangements being in charge of the Peet Mortuary.
Pallbearers were Joe Bartos, Grant Outhouse, Lewis Lee, D. A. Shoopman, Robert Bannon and Evart Hughes.
A quartet composed of Lavonne Pfeifer, C. W. Pfeifer, Lloyd Reed and George Grant rendered several appropriate hymns.
Obituary
George LeRoy McGuire was born in Quinter, Kan., June 9, 1883. There he spent the first 25 years of his life then came to Wyoming, locating near Keeline. On June 29, 1910, he was united in marriage to Miss Henrietta Washburn. To this union were born three children: a daughter, who died in infancy, and Dale and Hildred, who are living. During the last eight years, he had been a patient sufferer from cancer.
Mr. McGuire passed away at 1:10 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 1935 (left as published). He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, son, Dale, Dale's wife and child; one sister, Mrs. Lilly Carder, Quinter, Kan.; daughter, Hildred; two nephews, Lloyd Sperry of Keeline, Wyo., and Floyd Sperry of Burley, Idaho, together with many friends. He was a faithful husband, loving father and kind friend. He always held a high sense of honor and was respected by all who knew him.
