Military Rites Held For Rudolph Schultz Tuesday

Full military rites by Weiten-Dupes Post No. 4 of the American Legion were given here Tuesday for Rudolph Schultz, 44, who died Friday at the Sisters' Hospital in Hot Springs, following an emergency operation.

Mr. Schultz was born Nov. 18, 1902, on a farm near Phillips, Wisconsin, where he grew to manhood. At 18 he enlisted for three years in the Army and later engaged six years in mining.

In 1942 he joined the Air Corps and since his discharge, in March, 1943, he has been employed at the Ordinance Depot at Igloo, So. Dak.

He was married to Mrs. Pauline Bell, March 9, 1943.

Surviving are his widow and her three children, Eugene, Wanda and Zora Berry; an aged mother, who still lives on the old farm in Wisconsin, and two brothers and three sisters. Eugene, who is in the Navy, was granted leave and arrived in Lusk Friday to be with his mother. He must report back January 3.

The funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday from the Peet Chapel, with W. A. Sherk, former pastor of the Church of God, in charge. The Legion rites were in charge of Rev. Clyde Hampton, chaplain of the post.
