Father of William G. Watt Dies Sat.
Father of William G. Watt, David H. Watt, 82, of Sheridan, died Saturday evening. Mr. Watt, who was narrator of the pageant, got word shortly before the performance that his father was not expected to live, and word came during the pageant that he had died.
Two brothers who had been visiting at Sheridan, and came here for the Fair, returned with Mr. Watt Sunday. They were Evan Watt of Pasadena, Calif., and John Watt, his wife and two children of Lincoln, Neb. The two children remained here while the others went to Sheridan, where funeral services were held Tuesday. Besides the mother, there are five sons and three daughters surviving.
