Bud Austin Dies of Heart Attack At the Dan Chalfant Home
Bud Austin of Torrington died suddenly at the Dan Chalfant ranch home near Jay Em Tuesday morning, June 25.
Mr. and Mrs. Austin were spending a few days at the Chalfant ranch, Mr. Austin being a brother of Mrs. Chalfant, and according to reports walked out of the house after breakfast and fell in the yard dying within a few minutes.
Mr. Austin had been in business for a number of years, but sold out about a year ago and was looking for something else in which to invest, but had not found just what he wanted.
It is understood that he will be buried in Torrington.
