John Donald Johnson
Douglas Man Found Dead in Automobile
The body of John Donald Johnson, 20, of Douglas was found in a car hidden in a ravine about 200 yards south of the Cheyenne River and a mile east of the highway from Douglas to Gillette. Johnson had not been heard from since he supposedly started for a ranch near Glenrock February 6 in the car which belonged to a friend. Authorities believe he committed suicide. He is a brother of Mrs. Edwin Tschacher of Manville.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, April. 7, at Stark's Chapel in Douglas. Rev. Clyde Thompson officiated and interment was in Douglas Park Cemetery.
Others surviving besides Mrs. Tschacher are his mother, Mrs. Hazel Johnson, and three sisters: Mrs. Lincoln Pellatz of Bill, Mrs. Billie Miller and Ida Mae Johnson of Douglas.
