Former Van Tassell Resident Dies In Ill.
Mrs. Gerald Daniels, a former resident of Van Tassell and a cousin of Mrs. Lillian Peet of Lusk, died at her home in Princeton, Ill., October 12.
She was the former Carrie Bayes, daughter of William and Emma Bayes and was born in Springfield, Mo. Jan. 15, 1887. She came to Van Tassell in the spring of 1916 to make her home with Mrs. Peet. In 1917 she married Gerald Daniels of Van Tassell in Cheyenne while he was enroute to Ft. Lewis. Mrs. Daniels continued to live in Van Tassell until her husband received his discharge from the Army when they moved to Princeton.
