Tom Kennelly Dies in Torrington June 2
Thomas F. Kennelly, 48, of Torrington, died suddenly at his home Wednesday morning, June 2 of a heart condition. Mr. Kennelly, who was instrumental in the formation of the Tri-County Federal Savings & Loan Association, conducted much business in this area and was consequently well-known here.
Thomas Franklin Kennelly was born at Freeport, Illinois, April 1, 1906. He attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a degree in law. In August, 1931, he married Elda Riley at Greeley, Colorado and to this union thee sons were born. He is survived by his wife and two sons, one son having died in infancy. They moved to Torrington from Wheatland in 1932, and lived there the remainder of is life.
Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Torrington. Masonic rites were held at the grave in Valley View Cemetery where interment was made.
