C.H. Hoffman Dies in Douglas

The death of C. H. Hoffman of Douglas occurred there on Sunday, Nov 30. Mr. Hoffman had been a mortician and funeral director in Douglas for the past 43 years and was well known to many people here.

He was active in Masonic circles and was a past grand patron of the Wyoming Grand Chapter of the Eastern Star.

Mr. Hoffman was 68 years of age and had been in failing health for several years. He is survived by eight brothers and a sister, and is the first one of the group to pass away. His wife preceded him in death several years ago.

Mr. Hoffman sold his mortuary business to Cecil Stark of Lusk about two years ago and retired. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 today (Wednesday) in Douglas.
