Mrs. Clifford Rogers Dies In California

Word of the death of Mrs. Clifford Rogers of Vallejo, Calif., on Saturday, Nov. 22, was received here Sunday by her mother, Mrs. Melissa Dull.

A brother, Branson "Jerry" Dull of Lusk and two sisters, Mrs. Foster Jackson of Lusk and Mrs. Harry McCluskey of Manville left the previous week for California upon receiving word of the critical illness of their sister and they have not returned, but are expected home the latter part of the week.

Mrs. Rogers was born in Ohio and spent her youth in that state and then moved with her family to Broken Bow, Neb. It was there that she was married to Clifford Rogers and the young couple moved to Wyoming and homesteaded some 27 miles north of Lusk. After receiving title to their land they moved into Lusk and for a time Mrs. Rogers was employed by the old Snyder Mercantile Co.

In 1926 Mr. and Mrs. Rogers moved to Valleyjo, Calif where they have since resided.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 25, and interment made in the Oakland cemetery.

She had no children but is survived by her husband and her brother and two sisters, and mother.
