Loyd Pilcher's Father Passes Away; Family to Colorado For Services

Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Pilcher and daughter, Shirley Kay returned Tuesday, January 4th from a sorrowful journey to Pueblo, Colo., whence they had been called December 29th by the serious illness and subsequent death of the former's father, Charles Pilcher, age 75. He passed away at his home in the Colorado city on December 1st after an illness of some length, due to complications resulting from advanced age.

Although Mr. Pilcher was not a Niobrara county resident, he had made his home in Wyoming some 15 years ago, residing at Guernsey, and had many friends in the southeast part of the state as well as in the vicinity of his Colorado home. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; one son, Loyd, of Lusk, Wyo.; and two daughters, Mrs. Edith Ferris of Pueblo, Colo., and Mrs. Winnie Smith of Arnold, Nebr.
