George W. Robinson
Again we are called on to chronicle another death in our midst. The grim reaper stalked boldly in this community last Thursday evening, April 29th, just as the sun was setting beneath the horizon, and carried the spirit of George Robinson beyond that river from which no traveler returns. A little more than two years ago Mr. Robinson contracted a severe cold which settled on his lungs and brought on consumption, and from that time until the moment of his death he was a constant sufferer, and for 72 hours prior to his passing away he suffered untold agony. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Heathcote in the Congregational church Saturday afternoon, after which the remains were taken to the Lusk burying grounds and laid to rest. C. E. Robinson, brother of the deceased, wished to thank those who so kindly assisted him during the sickness, death and burial of his brother.
