Morris Oshier, Drayman Here, Dies Thursday
Morris Oshier, 79, drayman for many years in Lusk, died at the home of Mary Monker in Lusk at 6:30 Thursday evening, August 6.
As far as can be learned he was the only surviving member of his family His wife and four children, three sons and a daughter, and six brothers and a sister, had previously died.
He was born July 7, 1863 at Waddington, New York. He came to Lusk in 1919 where he established a dray business. For several years he has been in poor health.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon from the Peet Mortuary with the Rev. Wm. F. Strey, state Sunday School secretary for the Church of God, officiating assisted by the local pastor, the Rev. Wm. Sherk. Mr Sherk also sang, accompanied by Mrs. J. P. Watson.
Pallbearers were R. J. Barues, George Brooks, Wm. Millburn, Dave Iliff, Ed Iliff and Georbe Jacox.
