SHERIDAN - Family graveside services for Sheridan resident Frances Ann Moss, 88, will be held at a later date in Lusk.

Cremation has taken place, under the direction of Champion-Ferries Funeral Home of Sheridan.

She died Dec. 15, 2003, at Sheridan Manor.

Born July 21, 1915, in Laramie, she was the daughter of Foster Rob and Hazel Gladys (Palmer) Rogers; and, at age 3, moved with her family to Lusk, where her father owned Rogers' Drug Co. She was raised and educated in Lusk and worked at the store from age 9 until its sale in 1946.

In 1935, she married Leonard Gatzemeyer. They were the parents of a son.

She married Ellsworth Carroll Moss in 1948. They had two sons.

The family lived in Lusk until 1955, when they moved to Cheyenne. In 1961, she and her sons moved to Long Beach, Calif., and lived there for 33 years. They relocated to Sheridan in 1994.

She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sons, Roy J. Gatzemeyer of Sheridan, William D. Moss of Story and Richard D. Moss of Sheridan; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.
