Chisholm Griffin Ellis
Chisholm Griffin Ellis died March 1st, 1913, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. S. Glasford, aged 72 years, 4 months and 11 days. He was born Oct. 20, 1841, in Henry County, Ind., and in 1865 he was married to Miss Jane McClelland and to their union were born four children. He migrated first to Missouri and later came to Wyoming, settling near Lusk. He became a member of the First Baptist church, June 24, 1905, and retained his membership until his death.
The deceased is survived by his widow, two sons, Henry and Wm. Ellis of Lusk and two daughters, Mrs. W. S. Glasford of Lusk and Mrs. J. E. Norcross of Kansas.
The funeral service was held Monday morning, Rev. S. Burman Long pastor of the Lusk Congregational church, conducting the service. A large number of neighbors and friends were present. Interment was made in Lusk cemetery.
