CLARKSTON - Luella Ball Stuart, 62, wife of Sherman Stuart, died Saturday at the family home in Clarkston following a prolonged illness.
She was born April 16, 1911, in Rigby, Idaho, a daughter of Parte and Christina Peterson Ball. She was married to Mr. Stuart Nov. 25, 1929, in Idaho Falls, and was a member of the LDS Church.
The Stuart family is prominent in intermountain Hereford livestock breeding, and is recognized in Cache Valley for their agricultural achievement.
Surviving Mrs. Stuart are her husband; a son, Mart, both of CLarkston; sister, Mrs. Earl (Thelma) Archibald, Newdale, Idaho; Mrs. Ronald (Edna) Killian, and Mrs. Don (LaRee) Lewis, both of Rigby, Idaho, and Mrs. Ronald (Ardith) Tall, Portland, Ore.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Clarkston Ward Chapel, with Bishop Udell Godfrey officiating. Friends may call at Hall Mortuary in Logan Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., and at the Clarkston Ward chapel Tuesday one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Clarkston City Cemetery.
Note: Although the Find a Grave website lists Luella Stuart at Clarkston Cemetery, Cache County, Utah, grave S-4-2, she has been moved to the Node, Wyoming cemetery.
