Early Jireh Resident Dies In Oregon
Word of the death of Mrs. Ella Cortner was received by Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Stoddard from her daughter, Mrs. George Curtz of Cornwallis, Ore.
The Rev. J. P. Cortner and his wife were among the early settlers when the town of Jireh was founded and still have many friends in this community. Since the death of her husband, Mrs. Cortner has been making her home with a daughter, Mrs. Lila Williams of Carrollton, Ohio where funeral services were held Sept. 5. She was born Dec. 16, 1861.
