Ralph Doman Dies Here Saturday; Services Held Mon.

Ralph Doman, 57, of Casper, brother of Lawrence Doman and Mrs. Floyd Simon of Lusk, died early Saturday morning at the Spencer hospital. Death was due to a stroke of apolexy.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Peet Chapel with the Rev. Jacob Nein of the Lusk Congregational Church officiating.

A mixed quartet composed of Mrs. A. B. DeCastro, Mrs. Emerson Bonner, Dennis Culver and Howard DeCastro sang "The Old Rugged Cross". A duet, "Whispering Hope", was sung by Mrs. DeCastro and Mrs. Bonner. Mrs. J.P. Watson was organist.

Casket bearers were Z. B. Crinklaw, Dave Iliff, Harry Fernau Sr., A. B. DeCastro, John Sturman and Herbert Sabin.

Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery with graveside military rites by Wieten-Dupes Post No. 4 of the American Legion. Color-bearers were Otto H. Klemke and Clyde Blackmore with Dick David and James Wilson as color guard. Raleigh Gagstetter and Charles C. Baughn folded the flag which Mr. Vaughn presented to Ray Doman of Casper, brother of the deceased. The firing squad was furnished by the National Guard. Gerald Pfeifer sounded "Taps".

Ralph Valentine Doman was born at Anselmo, Neb., February 14, 1898, the son of William and Cora (Snyder) Doman. He attended the schools at Anselmo.

In 1911 he accompanied his family to Node where his father homesteaded land now included in the Herbert Sabin ranch. Later he went to California and in 1925 he returned to Wyoming and was employed in the Salt Creek oil field until World War II.

During the war Mr. Doman served in the Coast Artillery and was stationed at Washington, D. C.

Since returning from the service he has been in the employ of his brother, Ray Doman, in his butane gas service in Casper.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose at Casper.

Mr. Doman was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Elsie. He is survived by two brothers: Ray Doman of Casper and Lawrence of Lusk; two sisters, Mrs. Lila Ritchie of Cheyenne and Mrs. Floyd Simon south of Lusk; three nephews and three nieces.

Out-of-town relatives and friends here for the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. William Ritchie, Dick and Darlene, of Cheyenne; Ray Doman and Joe Miller of Casper, and Winn Houdyshout of Edgerton.
