Mrs. R. F. McPherson Dies at Thermopolis
Mrs. Joan Dick was called to Cheyenne Saturday by the death of her mother, Mrs. R. F. MacPherson, who died suddenly from a heart attack in Thermopolis.
Mrs. McPherson was the wife of the well-known columnist for the Wyoming Ealge, R. F. MacPherson, and being in failing health for several years had gone to the state home in Thermopolis in the hopes that lower altitude and care would afford her some relief. She had been there less than three weeks when she died.
Funeral services were held from the Presbyterian Church in Cheyenne on Sunday afternoon and afterward she was taken to Bettle Creek, Mich. for burial in the family plot.
In addition to her husband, surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Winkle of Cheyenne, Mrs. Gertrude Ondriezek of Upton, and Mrs. Joan Dick of Lusk; four sons, Linzsey K. and Ellis B. MacPherson of Portland, Ore., Jack of Brady, Tex., and Benton. (Spellings of MacPherson as published.)
