Sarah A. Keller
Aged Citizen Passed Away Here Sunday
Reaper Calls Lady of 80 years Who Spent Thirty Years of Her Life in This Community
Mrs. Sarah A. Keller passed away at her home here, last Sunday, after a long illness.
Mrs. Keller had reached the ripe old age of 80 years. She came to this community more than thirty years ago, and with her husband won the high esteem now given to those who pioneered the great West.
Having lost her husband more than two years ago, Mrs. Keller had not enjoyed the best of health since that time.
As soon as the sad news was learned throughout the community, the local Post of American Legion and other friends, presented some beautiful flowers in token of their respect for and appreciation of the lost life.
Mrs. W. F. Harnly, a niece from Sheridan, Wyo., arrived here Monday in answer to the summons that her aunt has died. Miss Jessie Notson of Hamburg, Iowa, also a niece, has been here for the past month attending her sick aunt.
Short funeral services were held at the home by Rev. Butler. The remains were shipped, Wednesday, to Hamburg, Iowa, for funeral services and interment.
The Manville News wishes to be numbered among the firends of the family, who grieve for this loss, and who offer words of reconcilliation to those in deep sorrow.
