Charlotte Keefer Dies in Colorado
Mrs. Charlotte Keefer, 70, wife of the late Harvey S. Keefer, died suddenly at her home in Loveland, Colo., Saturday, April 18, from cerebral hemorrhage.
Mr. and Mrs. Keefer came to Lusk as bride and groom early in 1900 from Sterling, Ill., and Mr. Keefer entered the employ of the H. C. Snyder Company store as a bookkeeper, which position he filled for a number of years. They then returned to Illinois for a few years, but about 1920 came back to Lusk and went into partnership with the Snyder company for a number of years.
Leaving Lusk, they moved to Loveland, Colo., where Mr. Keefer died nearly ten years ago.
Funeral services for Mrs. Keefer will be held from the Kibbey Funeral Home in Loveland, on Wednesday at 2:00 o'clock. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Alice Scott, who lived with Mrs. Keefer, and a brother, Harry E. Burkholder of Sterling, Ill.
Mr. and Mrs. R. I. Olinger and Mrs. J. B. Griffith, old-time friends of the deceased, attended funeral services.
