Elvin H. "Danny" Daniels
Elvin H. "Danny" Daniels of Hastings, NE died Wednesday, March 9, 1988, at his home. Services were held March 12 at the First Presbyterian Church in Hastings. Dr. Robert Mays officiated. Burial with military rites was held in the Parkview Cemetery in Hastings.
Mr. Daniels was born February 27, 1923, at Chadron, NE. A 1940 graduate of Whitney High School, he served in the United States Marine Corp from 1944-1946.
He married Emma M. Anderson on October 2, 1954, in Lusk, WY. He was area director of growth and maintenance for the National Farmers Organization. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hastings, where he taught the Adult Bible Class for the past six years.
Survivors include his wife, Emma; two daughters, Diana Sunders of Chicago, IL and Deborah Kent of Hastings; one brother, Leo, of Whitney, NE; two sisters, Mary of Whitney and Martha Klus of Monrovia, CA; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jake and Anna Daniels of Whitney.
