Val Jessen, Grand Junction, Colo., died the past week end in Grand Junction. He is the brother-in-law of Mrs. James B. Griffith, Sr.
Mr. Jessen was a former postmaster in Newcastle and was well-known in this area. Mr. and Mrs. Jessen often visited in Mrs. Griffith's home.
