Sidney Dale Mongold, 39, died in Kaycee Sunday, Oct. 12, 1986. Services were Wednesday, Oct. 15 at the Grace Mission Church in Kaycee, with Rev. Grant Adams officiating. Burial was in Kaycee Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to Boy Scout Troop 95 in Kaycee, in care of Adams Funeral Home in Kaycee.
Mr. Mongold was born Oct. 15, 1946 in Topeka, KS., to Homer and Maxine Mongold. He grew up and received his education in Silver lake, KS., graduating from Silver Lake High School in 1965.
He worked for Goodyear Tire in Topeka for five years and then lived in Fort Collins, CO, where he drove a truck for six years.
He married Linda Martens May 26, 1975 in Fort Collins. They moved to Wyoming that year, settling in Kaycee in 1979, where he worked as maintenance superintendent for the town of Kaycee until his death.
He was active with the Boy Scouts and was a member of Grace Mission Church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda, two sons, Rod and Sam, all of Kaycee; one daughter, Tammy Mongold of Fort Collins, and his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Homer Mongold of Silver Lake.
