Funeral services for Richard Eugene Tollman, 79, of Lusk, Wyo.,were held at Pier Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, with Reverend David Dick of the American Missionary Fellowship Church of Douglas officiating. Graveside services were after the service at the Lusk Cemetery. Richard died, Feb. 11, 2009, at the ranch home northeast of Lusk.

"Dick" was born Feb. 3, 1930 in Crawford, Neb. to Rex Edward and Ora Josephine (Hymer) Tollman. He attended Crawford High School, where he graduated in 1948. He came to the Lusk area where he worked as a ranch hand and in oil fields. He married Claudetta Mae Swope June 2, 1951. They had 4 children, Rex (Julie) Tollman and Robyn (Dale) Jefcoat of Lusk; Rhonda (Marvin) Jones of Alliance, Neb.; and Renae (Jack) Jones of Crawford, Neb. The family moved to the ranch northeast of Lusk in the Indian Creek community in 1963.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Clarence, George and Don; and sisters Rosella and Jody. He is survived by his wife, children, 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and sister Neva McGregor of Crawford.

The family suggests Memorials or donations to American Missionary Fellowship and Lusk Senior Center.

Pier Funeral Home in Lusk is in charge of arrangements.
