Former Harrison and Prairie Center Man Killed in Car Wreck
Charles Donald Henry, 37, former resident of Sioux County, Nebraska and of the Prairie Center community, died early Sunday when his car plunged into a draw and burned four miles east of Glenrock. His body was badly burned in the accident.
Henry was an employee of the Reserve Drilling Co., and was returning from a company dinner in Douglas at the time of the accident.
Mr. Henry is survived by his wife and a 4-year-old son, both of Glenrock. He is a cousin of Mrs. Ann Brooks and Mrs. Melvin Meier, both of Lusk.
Mr. Henry worked on and lived on a number of ranches in western Nebrraska and eastern Wyoming prior to going into the oil business.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, from the Methodist Church in Harrison.
