Manville man killed in accident
A Manville man was killed in a single-car accident Saturday afternoon near Manville.
Mark Alan Hawley, 22, died following the accident one-half mile east of Manville. He was the only occupant of the car. According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Hawley's vehicle left the right shoulder of old U.S. Highway 20 and traveled about 900 feet before rolling two and a half times. Hawley, who was ejected from the vehicle, died at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.

Mark Alan Hawley of Manville died Saturday, July 13, 1985, from injuries received in an automobile accident east of Manville. He was 22.
Mr. Hawley was born May 12, 1963, in Lawrenceville, Ill., the son of Howard and Martha Hawley. The family moved to the Lance Creek area in 1969. He attended grade school in Lance Creek and was graduated from Niobrara County High School in 1983.
Following graduation, he worked in the oilfields and for the past three months had been employed by Leno's Construction. He is survived by his parents, Howard and Martha Hawley of Manville, three brothers, Daniel of Casper, Steven of Manville, and David of Shepherd Air Force Base, Texas; two sisters, Cathy Meier of Lusk and Terry Serres of Potter, Neb.; a grandfather, Orla Hawley, and numerous other relatives and friends.
