Edward F. Pfeiffer Dies at Scottsbluff
Edward F. Pfeiffer, 89, of 1906 Ninth Avenue, died at a Scottsbluff Hospital on May 7.
He was born June 29, 1874 at Cleveland, Ohio. He lived at Maquoketa, Iowa for several years where he received his education.
He married Anna Wright, December 13, 1911, and was in the saddle and harness manufacturing business until they moved to Scottsbluff in 1947. His home had been there since that time.
Survivors include his widow, two sons, Clarence A. of Route 2, Mitchell, and Forrest of Velles Indre, France; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, one son and one daughter died previously.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Benson-Jolliffe Funeral home with Rev. Aranley D. Tolle officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park.
Those from Harrison who attended the funeral were Mrs. Leslie DeKay, Mrs. Milford Brewster, Edward DeKay, Mrs. Grace Parsons and Mrs. Lewis Witt. Mr. Pfeiffer was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Witt.
