Mrs. Frank Kelley of Keeline Dies Thursday a.m., Aged 75

Mrs. Frank Kelley, well known resident of Keeline, passed away Thursday morning, at 6:00 o'clock, at her home, southwest of Keeline, following a long illness.

Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., at the Congregational Church in Keeline, with interment in the Jireh cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Peet Mortuary.

Her daughter, Mrs. O. D. Cortner and son, Frederick, from Ogden, Utah, arrived yesterday.

Mrs. Kelley, wife of Frank Kelley, well-known writer on economic subjects, was 75 years old, and had been in poor health for some time. Her husband and daughter were at her bedside when death came. A complete obituary will be published next week.

Funeral Services For Mrs. Frank Kelley Held Last Friday

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Kelley of Keeline, aged 74, wife of Frank Kelley, who died last Thursday, were held from the Congregational Church of Keeline, last Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, September 8, Rev. B. F. Farrar officiating.

Arrangements were in charge of George Earl Peet at the Peet Mortuary. Interment was made in the Jireh cemetery.

After a prayer service at the home at 1:30, services were held at 2:00 p.m., at the Congregational Church. Mrs. Kelley's favorite hymns were sung by a quartet composed of Mrs. C. A. Whelan, Mrs. Seward Coleman, Mr. George Grant and Mr. C. W. Pfeifer, ably assisted at the organ by Mrs. Virgil Shoopman.

Pallbearrs were: Leo Luker, Walter Scott, Will Dielman, Jake Amend, Frank Veter and George McGuire.

OBITUARY
Hattie Ella Kenyon was born near Coldwater, Michigan, December 20, 1858, and died at her home near Keeline, Wyoming, September 7, 1933, at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 17 days.

Early in life she united with the Baptist Church of Jesup, Iowa, and throughout her long life she was an active worker in the church and Sunday school. On moving to Wyoming she united with the Christian Church at Jireh.

She was united in marriage to Mr. Frank Kelley, July 16th, 1878, at the farm home of her parents near Jesup, Iowa. With her husband she moved to the western part of Iowa, then later to South Dakota, and 25 years ago the family came to her late home in Wyoming, where she has gathered about her a host of friends.

Her life was spent largely on the frontier, where she loyally and lovingly aided her husband and children in the labors and trials inherent in pioneering. While she was in declining health for a number of years, her last illness was of short duration, and she peacefully fell asleep in her Lord, whom she had so conscientiously served.

She is survived by her husband and five children, two sons and three daughters, a brother and three grandsons, and numerous friends.

According to Lusk Cemetery records, the stones were moved in from Jireh, but there are no burials for this lot.
