Former Lusk Resident Dies in Rapid City
Doty Mead, former Lusk resident, died of a heart attack in Rapid City Saturday evening. Funeral services were held in Rapid City Wednesday morning and at the Peet Mortuary in Lusk at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Richard Scott officiated.
Mrs. Hobart Cockreham, Mr. and Mrs. Al Davenport sang "Nearer My God To Thee" and "Abide With Me."
Pallbearers were: Percy Beagle, LaGrange; Johnnie Jassman, Ray Baughn, Glen Erlewine, Eddie Plumb and Robt. Taylor, all of Lusk.
Mr. Mead is survived by his wife, Helen, and a daughter, Helene.
