Adolph Zurcher
Adolph B. Zurcher was born March 28, 1906. He passed away December 20, 1993, at the Ponderosa Villa in Crawford, Neb., after a long illness. He was the 11th child born in a family of 12. His parents were immigrants from Switzerland.
Adolph married Marguerite Luton and to this union three children were born.
He is survived by his wife Margurete and two daughters, Mary Colleen Ladwig and Shirley Ann Schaefer all of Harrison.
Preceding him in death at the age of nine months was a son, Russell Edwin.
A cremation has taken place and graveside services will be held at a later date.
God saw he was getting tired,
And a cure was not to be
So He put His arms around him and whispered
Come with me."
With tearful eyes we watched him suffer,
And saw him fade away,
Although we loved him dearly,
We could not make him stay.
His golden heart stopped beating.
Hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
