George Dixon's mother dies
Mr. and Mrs. George Dixon returned to Lusk Feb. 27. They had been called to Scottsbluff by the death of his mother, Mrs. Mabel A. Dixon, 81, who died suddenly at her home on Feb. 19. The funeral was Feb. 23 with the Rev. Clyde E. Whitney officiating. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Park.
She was born April 25, 1896 at Rushville, where she grew up. She came to Scottsbluff for nurses training about 1920 and has lived there ever since.
Survivors include her son, George of Lusk, daughter Mary Thompson of Westminster, Colo., two sisters, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Dixon had visited her son George and Ardith Dixon on many occasions.
