Andrew Christeson Follows Wife Only 15 Days in Death

Surviving his wife only fifteen days, Andrew J. Christeson died at the Spencer Hospital, Thursday, January 17.

He entered the hospital about a month previous, suffering from a chronic heart ailment and was unable to attend the funeral services held for his wife on January 5th.

Mr. and Mrs. Christeson came to Lusk about six years ago and purchased the Otis Bump ranch five miles east of town.

Andrew J. Christeson was born April 6, 1882, in Buena Vista County, Iowa, and lived in Alta, Iowa, for 23 years. He then moved to Rapid City, So. Dak., and on November 26, 1909, was married to Miss Ella McDonald at Deadwood, So. Dak.

They are the parents of one son, Louis Andrew, now residing at Billings, Montana.

The funeral services which were held for Mrs. Christeson were duplicated for her husband. His services were conducted from the Peet Chapel on Sunday afternoon with Rev. Lawrence P. Juell in charge. The same musicians, Mrs. Emerso Bonner and Mrs. Ezra Duncan, repeated the songs, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Rock of Ages," accompanied by Miss Alice Fowler.

There was one change in casket bearers, Clarence Sides took the place of Herbert Sabin, who was unable to attend. The others were Ralph Larsen, Fred Hansen, Anthon Hansen, Otis Bump and John Sturman.

He was buried in the Lusk Cemetery beside his wife.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Christeson again came down from their home in Billings, Mont., for the services.
