Sister of Don Housh Dies in Neb. Sept. 29
Don Housh, former vocal music teacher in the Lusk schools, was in Lusk Sunday, enroute to Eugene, Ore., after being called to Chadron, Nebr. by the death of his sister, Mrs. Louis Piper, of Ainsworth.
Mrs. Piper died in a hospital at Valentine, Nebr. Monday evening, Sept. 29, a short time after the car she was driving was wrecked seven miles east of Valentine on Highway 20. She was accompanied by her 9-week-old son, Richard, Jr., who suffered only a slight bump on the forehead.
Lois Housh Piper was born Oct. 2, 1931 at Chadron. She is survived by her husband, Richard, and small son; her mother, Mrs. Arlene Housh, of Chadron, and two brothers, Donald Housh of Eugene, Ore., and Clayton Housh of Chadron.
Funeral services were held Thursday at the Erlewine Funeral Home in Chadron with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery.
