Chris Myrup Dies Tuesday Night

Nels Christopher Myrup, born in Denmark 65 years ago, died at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital at 11:30 o'clock Tuesday night, after a long illness.

Mr. Myrup came to Lusk from O'Neill, Nebr., about 35 years ago where he engaged in farming and ranching until forced to retire because of ill health.

Funeral services will be held at the Peet Chapel Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

Last Rites Held For Chris Myrup

Last rites for Chris Myrup were conducted from the Peet Chapel Saturday, May 3, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Clyde Hampton officiating.

Music was furnished by a quartet composed of Mrs. Edna DeCastro, Miss Neoma Taylor, Donley Unruh and James Strickland with Mrs. J.P. Watson presiding at the chapel organ.

The casket bearers were Walter Schnorenbr, R. B. Taylor, Claude Parmely, C. E. Marvin, Fred Ketler and Leonard Gladson.

Survivors include his wife, Millie, four daughters, Mrs. Arthur Mashek, Mrs. Floyd Rathbun, Mrs. Clifford Parmely of Manville and Miss Betty Myrup of Lusk and three sons, Lester, Alfred and Donald Myrup, all of Lusk.

Interment was made in the Lusk Cemetery.
