Mrs. Geo. Ferguson Dies Here Sunday

Mrs. Ruby Ferguson, 54, wife of George Ferguson, died at her home in Lusk on Sunday, January 6, 1946, from a chronic illness of many months.

She was born at York, Neb., on October 10, 1891, and spent her girlhood in that State, being married on October 26, 1908, to George Ferguson at Broken Bow, Neb. The couple later moved to Colorado, where they lived for twenty years. A year ago Mr. Ferguson bought the Northside Service Station and the family moved to Lusk, coming here from Douglas.

The immediate survivors are her husband, three sons, Clifford G. of Nasson, Oregon; Clinton Lee, Denver, Colo.; Lloyd Austin, Lusk. One son, Glen B., died in 1916 at the age of one year.

Three brothers and two sisters are also left to mourn her passing, Morse Smith, Davenport, Wash.; Elmer Smith, Pueblo, Colo.; Joe Smith, Wilbur, Wash.; Mrs. Ressie McConnell, Lingle, Wyo.; Mrs. Gertrude Trimm, Ainsley, Nebraska.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, at the Peet Chapel, with Rev. Ezra Duncan, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.

"This World Is Not My Home" and "It Is Well With My Soul" were sung by Miss Irene Ellison and Mrs. Sam Thomas, accompanied by Mrs. J.P. Watson.

The casket bearers were Harry Wampler, Ira Lamb, Lloyd Pilcher, Ralph Mark, Jake Wahl and T. T. Graspbrook.

Interment was made in the Lusk cemetery.
