Aunt of Mrs. Hubbard Dies in Colorado
Amelia Bower, 61, of Torrington, aunt of Mrs. Clarence Hubbard of Lusk, died December 30 at a Colorado Hospital. Funeral services were held last Wednesday at the Colyer Funeral Home in Torrington. The Rev. George L. Davis officiated. Interment was at the Forest Lawn Cemetery at Morrill, Nebr.
She was born at Dubowka, Russia, August 9, 1906. She came to America in 1913 and attended school at Lincoln, Nebr. She moved to Scottsbluff in 1920 and to Goshen County in 1947.
She married Robert Bower at Torrington, September 15, 1925.
Mrs. Bower was a member of the Lutheran Church of Torrington.
Survivors include her widower; three sons, Floyd and Donald of Torrington, Larry of Worland; five brothers, Walter Dietz, Portland, Ore., Henry Dietz, Scottsbluff, Fred Dietz, Mitchell, Alexander Dietz, Nampa, Ida., Victor Dietz, Livermore, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Gross, Scottsbluff, Mrs. Pauline Pilkington, Eugene, Ore., Mrs. Christine Colton, Loveland, Colo.; and three grandchildren.
One son, one brother and two sisters died previously.
Attending the services from Lusk were Mrs. and Mrs. Clarence Hubbard and Kenny, Mrs. and Mrs. Paul Hubbard and Mrs. Edith Demmer.
