Mother of Mrs. Merlin Barnes Passes Away

Mrs. Ella Jackson, mother of Mrs. Merlin Barnes, passed away last Thursday afternoon, at 1:15, at the home of her daughter, after only a few hours' illness.

The cause of her death was given as cerebral hemorrhage. The remains were taken to the Earl Pest mortuary and held until Friday evening, when they were taken to Cody, Neb., where burial was made beside her husband, who had preceded her in death a number of years.

A son, Kenneth Jackson of Colorado, and other relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Poland and Mr. and Mrs. Derry, all of Nebraska, in company with Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Barnes, accompanied the remains.

Mrs. Jackson has lived in Lusk with her daughter a number of years, and has many friends here who regret to hear of her death.
