Ralph Edward Nelson

Ralph Edward Nelson, 62, of Erie, Colo. passed away on May 18, 2008. He was born to Ray and Margaret Nelson on Jan. 1, 1946. Ralph was the youngest of three children raised on the Nelson family farm outside of Erie, Colo. He graduated from Longmont High School in 1964 and graduated from Colorado State University in 1968.

Ralph moved to Lusk in 1982 to manage the Conoco station. He later had a landscaping business in the area. He moved back to Colorado to take care of his mother after his father's passing.

His parents, brother, Jack Nelson and a niece preceded him in death.

Ralph is survived by two daughters, Kristen Chadwick of Sisters, Ore. and Kimberly Koditek (Chadwick) of Hillsboro, Ore., one sister Geri Sarconi of Espanola, NM and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held later this summer.
