Caroline Prelle
Grandma Prelle Passes Away at Hat Creek Home
Mrs. Caroline Prelle passed away at her home near Hat Creek on the eve of January 30th, at the age of 73 years, 2 months and 26 days. Her son Walter, with whom she made her home, was in town on business and returned home that evening to find that the Grim Reaper had preceded him. It is presumed that a stroke of paralysis caused her death.
Services by Rev. Farrar, assisted by the Fairview Sunday school, were held in Lusk at the Baptist church on Sunday afternoon.
The musical services were rendered by a choir from the Fairview Sunday school, which Mrs. Prelle often attended.
The remains were shipped to Bassett, Neb., to be interred beside her husband.
