Verna Marie (Tucker) Rokne
Verna Marie (Tucker) Rokne passed away April 17, 2008 at the Green Valley Nursing Home in Eugene, Ore.
She was born Feb. 1, 1932, the daughter of Lawrence and Ethel Tucker.
She worked as a waitress in several restaurants while in Lusk. On March 28, 1951, she married Robert R Rokne in Lusk. They had two sons; Steve, of Snohomish, Wash., and Brian of Eugene, Ore.
In 1967 they moved to Springfield, Ore., where she worked for 18 years as a cook for the Springfield School District.
She is survived by her husband Bob, son Brian, son Steve and wife Shelly; also by five grandchildren, two brothers, and numerous friends and relatives.
Direct cremation has taken place at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
