Concluding Services Held for Goldie Eugenia Bonner Monday Afternoon; Interment Made in Lusk Cemetery
Concluding services were held for the late Mrs. Goldie Eugenia Bonner, wife of L. T. (Cy) Bonner of this city, at two o'clock Monday afternoon from the chapel of the Peet Funeral home. Rev. Oltha B. Holcomb, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Lusk, officiated.
During the services two selections, "Sometime We'll Understand" and "In the Garden" were sung by Mrs. Carl Peterson and Mrs. Oltha Holcomb with Mrs. J.P. Watson providing the organ accompaniment.
Interment was made in the Lusk cemetery with Bryan Burge, Johnnie Thon, J. P. Watson, Carl Cline, Roscoe Kilmer and Albert Hoy serving as pallbearers.
Goldie Eugenia Moore, a daughter of W. H. and Alice Moore, was born October 9th, 1916 at Cole, Oklahoma and departed from this life on Thursday, July 15th, 1954 at the Spencer hospital. She had attained the age of 37 years, nine months and six days.
She was married to Lewis T. (Cy) Bonner on March 13th 1937 at Westcliffe, Colorado, and shortly thereafter, moved to Lusk, Wyoming where they have since made their home. They became the parents of two children, Ted and Nondace.
Mrs. Bonner had been ill for the past eight months and her demise was caused by a chronic ailment. She had been a patient at the Spencer hospital since the latter part of May. During her residence in Lusk she had acquired a large circle of admiring friends. She was devoted to her church, and will long be remembered as a faithful member and helper in the program of The First Baptist Church of Lusk, which she has served as a deaconess and teacher.
The deceased is survived by her husband, Lewis T. (Cy) Bonner and son and daughter, Ted and Nondace of the family home in Lusk; her mother, Mrs. W. H. Moore, Washington, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. C.C. Deason of Naches, Wash.; and Mrs. J. C. Jicka, Norman Okla.; two brothers, Writ E. Moore, Modesto, Calif, and Jack Moore, of Washington, Okla.
Out-of-town relatives and friends attending were Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Jicka, Norman, Okla.; Jack Moore, Washington, Okla.; Mr. and Mrs. V. G. Bonner and daughter, Englewood, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bonner and sons, Newcastle, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. A. Anderson and children, Sterling, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Forrest McIntosh and son, Canon City, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Harmon, Red Bluffs, Calif.; Mrs. Wm. Murphy and sons, Terry and Ralph, Mrs. Ross Roll, Mrs. Wilma Herr of Edgemont, South Dakota.

Mrs. Cy Bonner Dies July 15; Funeral Held Monday
Mrs. Goldie Eugenia Bonner, 37, wife of Lewis T. "Cy" Bonner of Lusk, died Thursday, July 15, at the Spencer Hospital, after a prolonged illness.
Funeral services were conducted by the Reverend Otha B. Holcomb, pastor of the Lusk Baptist Church from the chapel of the Peet Mortuary Monday, July 19, at 2 o'clock p.m. Mrs. Otha B. Holcomb and Mrs. Carl Peterson sang "In the Garden," and "Sometime We'll Understand," accompanied by Mrs. Judson P. Watson at the chapel organ. Pallbearers were Bryan Burge, Johnnie Thon, J.P. Watson, Carl Cline, Roscoe Kilmer, and Albrt Hoy. Interment was made in the Lusk Cemetery.
Goldie Eugenia Moore was born in Cole, Oklahoma, October 9, 1916, the daughter of W. H. and Alice Moore. On March 13, 1937, she was married to Lewis T. Bonner, and two children, Ted, 16, and Nondace, 13, were born to them. The Bonners have been residents of Niobrara County for 17 years.
Mrs. Bonner was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Lusk, and a devoted worker in the church program. She is survived by her husband and children, her mother, two brothers, Writ E. Moore, of Modesto, California and Jack Moore of Washington, Oklahoma; and two sisters, Mrs. C. C. Deacon of Naches, Washington, and Mrs. J. C. Jicka of Washington, Oklahoma, together with a host of relatives and numerous friends.
Out of town relatives and friends present for the funeral services were: Mr. and Mrs. J. Jicka and Jack Moore of Norman, Oklahoma; Mr. and Mrs. Forest McIntosh and son of Canon City, Colorado; Mrs. and Mrs. A. Anderson and children of Sterling, Colorado; Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Harmon of Red Bluffs, California; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bonner and sons of Newcastle; Mrs. WIlliam Murphy and sons and Mrs. Wilma Herr of Edgemont; Mrs. Ross Roll of Edgemont; and Mrs. and Mrs. V. G. Bonner and daughter of Englewood, Colorado.
