Mrs. J. G. Raine
Former Lusk Woman Dies In Denver After Stroke of Paralysis
While shopping in one of the drug stores in Denver on the morning of March 9th, Mrs. J. G. Raine was stricken with paralysis. She was removed to St. Luke's hospital and remained in an unconscious condition until the morning of the 14th when she was called home.
In a letter to his friend, Mr. Art Brown, Mr. Raine states that his wife had been enjoying unusually good health, and was very happy to be back among old frineds up to the time she was stricken, so he feels that it was a happy ending for her, as hard as it is for him to bear.
Funeral services were conducted at St. John's Cathedral in Denver and the body laid to rest the afternoon of the 16th. May she rest in peace. Mrs. Raine's many friends in Lusk will symphathize with him in his hour of sorrow.
