Robert Fletcher, Park Operator, Dies at His Resort Near Peak
Robert Fletcher, proprietor of the Fletcher Park, at the foot of Laramie peak, and who was known by many Lusk people who had visited his resort, died very suddenly of heart failure at the Park last Saturday.
Mr. Fletcher was 55 years old, and had been a resident of the state for many years. He had a rare collection of frontier relics, including war instruments, Indian bead work, work by Tom Horn while awaiting execution, and mnay others.
The snow was so deep near the peak that it was necessary to bring the body down 22 miles on horseback to a car which had made the way 18 miles from Wheatland.
