Mother of Wm. G. Watt Dies in California
Mrs. Alice M. Watt, mother of William G. Watt, died at Corona, Calif. Friday at the age of 86. She was a pioneer of the Sheridan community homesteading on Clear Creek east of that city.
Mrs. Watt had gone to California for the winter to be with two daughters, Miss Emma Watt and Mrs. Olive Nordquist. Her body was being returned to Sheridan for funeral services and burial this Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. William G. Watt and Mrs. Watt's mother, Mrs. R.H. Williams, left Tuesday for Sheridan. Mrs. Williams is a long-time friend of the late Mrs. Watt.
Besides the two daughters in California and Mr. Watt here, there are one other sister and four sons in the Sheridan community.
