Walter Warren dies May 20
Funeral service for Walter Warren, 72, of Bayard, who died May 20 in a Scottsbluff hospital, was held Saturday at Benson-Jolliffe Funeral Home in Scottsbluff. The Rev. William Allen Main officiated and burial was in Sunset Memorial Park.
Mr. Warren had ranched in Sioux County for 30 years before moving to Bayard. He has made his home with his son Dale at Terrytown for the past two years.
Survivors include his son Dale, two granddaughters, and two sisters. One son Charles preceded him in death.
Pallbearers were Charles Bourret, Morris Gillespie, Tom Kidd, Haver Pankowski, Jack Shaw and John Siegfried.
Among those attending the service and interment were Maxine Haworth, Steve Haworth, Jeannie Thompson of Scottsfluff, Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Buckley, Bob Jordan, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bourret, Ray Dout, Mr. and Mrs. Joe McLaughlin of Torrington, Mr. and Mrs. John Bourret of Lusk, Frank Modlin of Sidney and Mike Broderick of Scottsbluff.
