Charles H. Wormwood Dies in Douglas Friday
Charles Henry Wormwood, 76 of Glendo died in the Converse County Memorial Hospital at Douglas on Friday, May 22.
He was born at Green Lake, Wis., Nov. 27, 1876 and came west as a young man. He married Miss Florence Christian of Lusk and they located on a ranch near Glendo where they have spent their entire wedded life.
Funeral services were conducted from the Episcopal church in Glendo on Tuesday afternoon by the Methodist minister from Wheatland. Interment was in the Glendo cemetery.
Beside his wife he is survived by a son, Oliver Wormwood of the home ranch at Glendo and two daughters, Mrs. Frances Hansen of Newcastle and Mrs. Marian Rugg of Bloomington, Indiana.
Andrew and Ray Christian of Lusk are brothers of Mrs. Wormwood.
