"Curly" Hopkins Dies Here Tuesday
John A. (Curly) Hopkins, 75, died in the Spencer Hospital Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. following complications resulting from a fall July 5. Mr. Hopkins fell the 5th, breaking his arm and had been in failing health since that time.
He came to Lusk in 1918 and had resided here since then. He followed the carpenter trade for many years. Before coming here from Canada he served with the English Army in the Boer War. No known relatives are surviving.
Funeral arrangements have been made for Thursday at 2:30 o'clock at the Peet Chapel with Palmer Watson officiating. As requested in arrangements made by Mr. Hopkins, his remains will be taken to Denver for cremation.
